Superior Arizona's Brownfield Journey

Our historic mining town has faced boom and bust cycles that left one in four of our buildings vacant and dilapidated. Utilizing EPA Brownfields and other funding, we are working toward a new future by removing or revitalizing our abandoned buildings. Our most ambitious reuse project is our historic high school. Through partnerships, we are transforming this iconic building into the Superior MultiGen Center, home to many of our town services. Discover how we are not just reconstructing buildings but also rekindling hope and opportunity, transforming our history of perseverance into a dynamic vision for the future.

Learn more about the project from this video produced by Center for Creative Land Recycling (CCLR) and Blossom Digital Marketing.
