Reflecting on 2024: A Year of Growth and Impact at the Enterprise Center

As 2024 comes to a close, we are thrilled to highlight the Enterprise Center's accomplishments this year. We kicked off the year with a ribbon cutting for our first welding cohort, growing from one class of 10 students with 4 welding bays to three classes and nearly 30 students utilizing 12 bays.

Our entrepreneurial efforts included two Launch Camps and a Bootcamp for local business owners, alongside partnerships like AZStRUT to host three Youth Techie Camps, Superior Soaring to host the first youth flight school, and collaboration with ListenUp for app testing led by our Chief Science Officers.

We welcomed distinguished visitors including Governor Katie Hobbs, Senator Ruben Gallego, Representative Eli Crane, and staff from Senator Kyrsten Sinema. We also hosted key events like WECOM’s Lighting Ceremony and Superior’s State of the Town Address.

Looking ahead to 2025, we are excited to expand our workforce development and entrepreneurial initiatives with the opening of The Hive at the Superior Enterprise Center. This cutting-edge space will offer free access to digital devices, 3D printers, interactive tools, co-working spaces, telemed spaces and onsite training from Digital Navigators to bridge the digital divide and foster digital literacy.

2025 promises to be a year filled with new opportunities, and we can’t wait to see what’s in store.
