The Superior Enterprise Center hosted an exciting event in February which provided laptops to residents of the Copper Corridor. This amazing event was made possible by AZ StRUT, in partnership with Chicanos Por La Causa, the Superior Enterprise Center, Rebuild Superior, the Town of Superior, and Resolution Copper. We also had the Superior Jr/Sr. High School Youth Council and Career Development students who were a huge part of this very successful event! Together, we were able to distribute over 290 devices and provide some very basic training to the recipients of the devices. We have additional basic computer skills training scheduled for February 24, 2023.

Chicanos Por La Causa - CPLC
Computer by computer, we’re bridging the technology gap! Last Friday, our Help Our Kids Connect program gave away 250 laptops to families in the Copper Corridor. We’re excited for the kids in our community to have the resources they need to complete their homework and do well in school!
¡De computadora en computadora cerraremos la brecha tecnológica! El viernes pasado, nuestro programa Help Our Kids Connect le regaló 250 computadoras a familias en el Corredor de Cobre. ¡Estamos entusiasmados por los niños de nuestra comunidades, quienes ahora tendrán los recursos que necesitan para hacer su tarea y salir bien en la escuela!

Resolution Copper - Bryan Seppala
It’s been an exciting and busy morning in #SuperiorAZ for the free computer distribution and training for Copper Corridor residents. This was made possible by AZ StRUT, in partnership with Chicanos Por La Causa, Inc. (CPLC), Superior Enterprise Center, Resolution Copper and the Town of Superior! This is just one community based program that will be offered this year thru this great partnership.

It's about community! @resolutioncopper and Chicanos por la Causa teamed up to provide free laptops to community members in Superior! These laptops will allow citizens to access the internet so they can obtain jobs, further their education and tap into resources they otherwise wouldn't have access to. RMBCO provided the cookies for this event... and it was near and dear to my heart. (My full-time job also does community outreach.) Way to go, Resolution and Chicanos!
